I'm currently an instructor at Virginia Tech and have spent the last three years here teaching Calculus I-III as well as Differential Equations.

As to my background: In 2009, I received a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Buffalo State College and was certified to teach 7-12th grade Mathematics from 2010-2015. I went on to pursue my Master's degree in Mathematics, which I received in 2014.

As a student, I earned A's in both my undergraduate and graduate level Differential Equations courses. My graduate thesis was on Differential Equations applications. I've previously taught several sections of Differential Equations at Virginia Tech. I've also helped to write exams for this course as well as study materials.

My favorite part about tutoring is that moment when an idea suddenly clicks for a student. There is no bigger joy or relief than seeing a student finally understand a topic with which they've been struggling.

I've been working with students from 7th grade to the collegiate level for about ten years now. I started with tutoring friends, then spent over 2,000 hours in classrooms and tutoring for my certification. I've since been teaching for several years over a wide variety of math courses.
