My name is Spenser and I am available as a multi-skilled tutor from a variety of topics. I recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a MA in History and a certificate in Public History, '15, and am now beginning a second MA program at VT in Material Culture & Public Humanities.
At VT, I have had a variety of tutoring experiences with undergraduates that needed assistance in historical research, writing skills, and critical thinking. Additionally, I have a taught some basic lessons and theories on anthropology. I have tutored high school and middle school students that need assistance in writing, critical thinking, AP exam prep, and analysis skills, in addition to more broad topic-based issues within Government/Political Science/Civics, History, and Social Studies classes.
Have taught basics in anthropological theories and thought. I conducted archaeological field work at William & Mary, and minored in Anthropology.
I hold a Master of Arts in History with a Public History certificate, specializing in colonial, and early-America.
