I am a passionate educator and counselor with several years of experience helping students and clients understand complex ideas, build confidence, and reach their goals. I hold a graduate degree in social work and am currently completing my clinical hours toward licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). In addition to my counseling work, I have taught psychology and social science courses at the college level, guided students through academic challenges, and supported individuals of all ages in developing stronger study habits, writing skills, and emotional awareness.

My teaching style is highly student-centered and adaptive. I believe that learning is most effective when students feel supported and engaged, so I focus on building a collaborative relationship and tailoring my approach to each student’s learning style and pace. I use a mix of discussion-based learning, real-world examples, and practical exercises to help students grasp key concepts, whether we’re exploring human behavior, preparing for an exam, or breaking down a writing assignment. My background in counseling also informs my tutoring, allowing me to help students develop confidence, manage academic stress, and approach their studies with a growth mindset.

I have worked with learners from middle school through adulthood, both in classroom settings and one-on-one environments. Over the years, I’ve supported students in mastering subjects such as psychology, social sciences, essay writing, and executive functioning skills like time management and organization. My goal is always to empower students not only to understand the material but also to think critically, communicate effectively, and believe in their ability to succeed.
