I currently co-teach English 9. I have experience teaching English 10 and 11. I am a special education teacher who collaborates in the general education classroom with the general education teacher as well as provide case management services to students with disabilities. I have experience in both the elementary and secondary setting. I also have a background in the mental health field. I enjoy working with a diverse population of students and no challenge is too much for me. I specialize in English and strengthening reading and writing skills for students. I am also passionate about History and have taught high school history during summers to sharpen my History skills and knowledge. The success of my students motivates me to continue working and molding students for the future.

I am a lifelong learner, and an avid reader. I enjoy helping students succeed in the academic setting and find joy in providing tutoring to support areas where students may need additional practice. I find that a little extra time can go a long way if students are just given the chance.

I offer a flexible schedule and require a 4 hour cancellation policy. I am willing to make up missed sessions. I have become an expert in providing instruction virtually and am willing to provide online tutoring services. I am also willing to travel the home of the student or a mutual location, such as a library accommodate the needs of the student and family in my local area. Thank you.
