Math doesn’t come easy to you? Not only is that ok but that makes two of us! After struggling throughout grade school, I was determined to conquer my fears and false beliefs about the subject. Not only did I graduate from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied mathematics, but I was also able to attain a remarkable 3.86 GPA! Furthermore, utilizing my strong mathematics foundation, I recently graduated from Old Dominion University’s Batten College of Engineering & Technology with a Masters of Engineering Management (3.98 GPA).

The secret to my success, which I hope to impart this wisdom upon you, was breaking things down to a relatable, understandable, and fundamental level. By focusing on core concepts and utilizing examples presented in our daily lives, we will rapidly bridge your knowledge gaps or shortfalls. In doing so, you will not only get better at math but will gain the empowerment and build the confidence we all seek and deserve.

Having served as a nuclear Officer in the United States Navy for the last 17 years, I have a plethora of real world experience. This experience has taught me patience and uncovered a true passion for teaching and leading. I take pride and receive great personal fulfillment in selflessly developing young minds.
