Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I am a Mathematics tutor living in Chesapeake, Va (Greenbrier area). I have taught High School math in the classroom for many years with Calculus being my favorite and my area of expertise. I also love PreCal, Trig and Algebra.

I have taught the following courses in the classroom for both public and private schools:
AP Calculus AB and BC, PreCalculus/Trig, Statistics, Algebra 2, Geometry, Algebra 1, PreAlgebra, Physics (Algebra-based)

I have experience as an AP Reader, so I was hired by College Board to help grade the national AP exams. This means I have in-depth knowledge of how AP Calculus exams are graded and what things they look for.

I strive to help students realize that they CAN do math if they learn the proper skills. I teach students HOW to learn mathematics, and this is a skill they will take with them the rest of their lives!

Just after four sessions with Rebecca my daughter feels so much more confident in her AP calculus AB material. Rebecca helped my daughter figure out a few issues on certain concepts that were keeping her back. A lot more clarity just even after one session. My daughter can tell Rebecca knows her AP calculus AB material and can explain it in such a clear manner that makes sense to my daughter. Thank you!
