I placed out of two semesters of college level Spanish and spent a year living in Mexico. In Mexico, I spent a year teaching at an English immersion school and tutoring English to native Spanish speakers.
In both high school and college, English was always a subject in which I excelled. I also did exceptionally well on the writing and reading comprehension portion of the SAT. I also very much enjoy both fiction and non-fiction writing.
I absolutely love giving students the tools to succeed. Watching them find joy in their successes is my greatest pleasure! I also greatly delight in being able to equip students with tools that will continue to serve them down the road, no matter what path they choose.
