Hello, I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia. I majored in Biology with honors and am currently applying to medical school. During my undergraduate career, I spent several hours a week tutoring others voluntarily in an eclectic variety of subjects, including French, English, Algebra, Biology, and other life sciences. I enjoyed teaching and tutoring students of various ages and grade levels; helping others achieve their goals and grow academically is a truly rewarding enterprise, and I hope to use my passion for teaching to help others succeed and grow!

I have taken rigorous mathematics classes from high school into college. Doing so has enabled me to master the simpler aspects of math that are key foundations, like algebra. I tutored algebra extensively throughout my undergraduate education placing me in a good position to continue to do so now.

Majoring in biology at a top University while on a pre-med track enabled me to take science classes of high difficulty. I know how tough it can be to master these classes, and I was able to do so through hard work and determination. I hope that my own growth in the sciences can be applied to helping others do the same. Through my undergraduate career, I took 17 science classes ranging from neurobiology, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and deep into many psychology oriented classes.

I am a native French speaker who tested out of the UVA language requirement. I was able to tutor students in French throughout my undergraduate career, and as someone who learned English as a second language, I believe that I have the right mindset of tackling another language from scratch.

I am a friendly, patient individual who knows how stressful it can be to ask for help. I am available on the weekends, preferable mornings, Eastern time, to help others succeed. Feel free to schedule a lesson, I hope to help you on your academic journey to success!
