Hi, my name is David. As a tutor, I believe in thoroughly explaining material to my students and allowing them to try a skill on their own to ensure mastery. I am easy to work with and always professional. I am a TJHSST and UVA Chemistry graduate and will be starting medical school next fall at UVA.

I have experience tutoring the SAT and the MCAT, achieving great results with my students in boosting their scores in all sections.

Receiving a 5 on both the AP Calculus AB and BC exams, I have years of experience tutoring math up to college-level Calculus.

My passion for chemistry carries over into my tutoring as well as in the subjects of Physics, Psychology, and Biology. I worked as a research assistant at UVA and can tutor intro chemistry, organic chemistry, and physical chemistry.

I received a score of 5 on the AP Spanish Language and Culture Exam, and I have tutored students in Spanish up to this level.

I self-studied and received a score of 5 on the AP Music Theory Exam, as well as passing Level 12 examinations in Music Theory and Sightreading through NVMTA. I am an accomplished concert pianist and am willing to share my knowledge regarding learning how to play an instrument and music theory.

I specialize in TJHSST/college/medical school admissions prep. I received admission and graduated from TJHSST and UVA, and I also recently was accepted to medical school. I spent many months perfecting and tailoring my applications. I know what it takes to get into TJHSST and to also get into top universities/medical schools. I can tailor your essays and applications for admissions to maximize your chances.
