I worked as a math tutor for 3 years at Georgia State University. I helped students who needed additional support in their college math courses. I also worked as an educational aide for a year in a 4th and 5th grade math classroom. Finally I worked as a 4th grade math teacher.
I enjoy being a tutor because it allows me to help students reach their potential. Seeing students overcome hurdles is a satisfying experience that makes tutoring so rewarding.
