Aaron, 32 lessons with InsooIn our first lesson Insoo was able to quickly determine how much I know of the Korean language and based his lesson on that knowledge. He was easy to understand and was able to explain very foreign concepts in an easy to understand manner. I highly recommend him.
I was born in Korea and came to America in 2006 with my family. When I found out that there was no Korean school in my town, I decided to establish a Korean School at my church. Since then I have been teaching and managing the school as the principal & a teacher at Charlottesville Culture & Korean School, which means many years of teaching experience from kids to adults(Beginners to Advanced).

Patient and Knowledgable Korean Tutor!
Mr. Ma was able to gauge my current level of fluency after our first lesson and adjust our sessions from there. He not only teaches from the material he provides but also takes into consideration your personal goals for learning/improving Korean, and also provides cultural context throughout each session. He is very patient and thorough in his explanations. I am very appreciative of Mr. Ma and I highly recommend for all levels of fluency and for both adults/kids!

Great Korean tutor !
Provides appropriate level learning material. Spends time going over all aspects of language including reading, conversational speaking and writing. He also answers any questions that I have during the lesson ( I grew up in Korea and came to US in grade 3). I would highly recommend this tutor for kids as well as adults.

Mr. Ma has been amazing in helping me through this learning process as he is very patient with me and goes at my pace to make sure I fully understand what he is teaching me. Korean lecture
I took a Korean class with Insoo M. He is very knowledgeable, his lectures are easy to understand. He makes the lecture interactive. I was able to read basic Korean alphabets within an hour. He is a good teacher to go to if you want to learn Korean.

Knowledgeable and patient tutor
we learned location particle, "to be" grammar structure, reviewed vocabulary, and learned prepositional phrases (under, front, behind, beside, left, above, right, inside, outside). Great lesson overall, looking forward to next lesson this Friday.
