Teaching has been and continues to be very rewarding for me. I understand the dynamics of the learning process and have an effective ability to connect with students that are having difficulty with various topics.

My approach to tutoring is not a lecture scenario but a concrete two-way conversation with immediate feedback. The instructional methodology and the specific content is adjusted to the individual student's needs and capabilities.

We will each set goals for the overall tutoring experience as well as the individual sessions. And, I make myself available for mentoring beyond our scheduled meetings for your private problem solving and reading times using email and texting.

Patient man!

Ken is so patient. It's wonderful. Even today, when there was a section of the math that he wasn't familiar with, he was still able to help my son get to the right conclusion by leading him through a series of questions.

Ken is a terrific teacher.

Ken has reviewed the fundamentals and is getting me prepared for our next series of lessons. He is patient, clear and detail oriented. Ken goes the extra step, no matter how long it takes, to make sure I comprehend the material.
