I am currently a senior at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, where I study Finance and Marketing. My academic experience has given me a strong foundation in quantitative reasoning, financial analysis, and problem-solving. I have completed coursework in areas such as corporate finance, investments, and financial accounting, and I regularly apply these skills in analytical settings. In addition to my studies at UVA, I also spent a semester studying abroad at Bocconi University in Milan, where I worked with international teams and gained exposure to global business and economic concepts. My educational background has helped me develop both strong technical skills and the ability to explain complex ideas in clear, approachable ways.

I have experience mentoring and supporting students through both formal and informal teaching roles. At UVA, I have mentored younger students through the McIntire Ambassadors program, helping guide them through the college admissions process and academic preparation. I have also helped peers and younger students understand challenging topics in areas like math, economics, and business-related coursework. My approach to tutoring focuses on building confidence and understanding rather than simple memorization. I like to break complex topics into smaller, manageable steps and work with students one-on-one to ensure they fully grasp the concepts.

When working with students, I focus on patience, clarity, and encouragement. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s needs, whether that means using real-world examples, visual explanations, or practice problems to reinforce concepts. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them feel more confident in their abilities and develop the skills they need to succeed independently.
