I am a Ph.D.-trained mathematician with experience teaching undergraduate courses and supporting student learning through programming assignments and online instruction. I am also a patient and supportive tutor with experience explaining complex concepts clearly and adapting to students’ individual learning needs. My specialization is Probability, Statistics and Machine Learning and I am eager to tutor subjects related to these areas.

My teaching experience includes leading a recitation section in Discrete Mathematics and Combinatorics at Charles University in Prague and multiple recitation sections in Calculus during my graduate studies at Purdue University in West Lafayette. I have experience teaching in in-person, online, and hybrid formats, and I am comfortable using educational technology to support learning.

In addition to formal recitation I am experienced in one-on-one tutoring of Calculus and Statistics to college students from a variety of academic backgrounds, including non-STEM majors like Architecture and Psychology. I have extensive experience tutoring Elementary, Middle, and High School Mathematics. At the elementary level, I encourage students to explore math in a fun and engaging way, using vivid examples, illustrations, and stories to make concepts come alive. At the middle school level, I focus on motivating students to overcome challenges and build confidence as they tackle more complex problems. For high school students, I specialize in preparing them for university entrance exams and end-of-high-school examinations, ensuring they develop the skills, understanding, and confidence needed to succeed.
