I am a graduate student at the University of Virginia, where I am completing the M.S. in Global Commerce program. I also earned my undergraduate degree at UVA, double majoring in Commerce and Economics with concentrations in Finance, Management, and International Economics. My coursework has given me a strong foundation in both microeconomic theory and macroeconomic analysis, as well as their applications in business, finance, and policy.

Over the past several years, I have gained extensive tutoring and teaching experience with students ranging from middle school through college. At the undergraduate level, I have tutored peers and classmates in microeconomics, macroeconomics, corporate finance, data analytics in business, and humanities courses like the Development of Western Civilization. My tutoring has included one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and peer mentoring, which allowed me to adapt to different learning styles and skill levels.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered and interactive. I focus on breaking down complex economic models and theories into clear, step-by-step explanations supported by real-world examples. For microeconomics, I emphasize how supply and demand, firm behavior, and market structures connect to daily decision-making. For macroeconomics, I highlight how fiscal and monetary policy, growth, and international trade shape the global economy. I also provide practice problems and guided discussions so students can build both problem-solving skills and conceptual understanding.

I have worked with students across various age groups, including high schoolers preparing for AP Economics, college students in introductory and intermediate economics courses, and peers needing help with advanced finance and management applications. I enjoy seeing my students gain confidence as they connect classroom concepts to real-world issues.

If you are looking for someone who can make economics approachable, engaging, relevant — and dare I say, fun — I would be happy to help!
