World Class PE / HF Tutor

Up until now in my career, interview processes have been incredibly defined and "by the book". I interned at a boutique IB shop my junior summer, and then went directly to a megafund PE firm out of undergrad. For both of those jobs, I was able to prepare independently by relying on Wall Street Prep Courses, Rosenbaum & Pearl, interview guides, etc. because the expectations and timelines for interviews were clear. Hedge funds are a totally different ball game. Each fund has its own unique interview process, which can take months to complete, with different styles of technical questions, case studies, behaviorals, modeling tests, and more. I needed a personal coach that could help me navigate this unknown territory and prepare me for any challenge. Syed is a world-class coach. With only a few days notice of an interview assignment, he was able to prepare practice questions for me on topics he admitted he had never coached anyone else on before. And yet, I would walk into interviews and receive almost those exact same questions he had prepped me for. Syed is a natural talent who can get in the minds of any interviewer and figure out what types of questions they might ask and what type of new hire they want. He does deep background diligence on interviewers, on firms, and on subjects to make sure he is delivering the highest quality tutoring, even if a new territory (e.g. Long-Short equity). Syed has a strong foundation of technical knowledge across various financial topics, and I think is the perfect coach for any IB, PE, or HF interviewer. Informative and Very Helpful

Syed was amazing. We did about 5 total cases over the time I spent with him and I learned something new in each one. I love that he lists out, in detail, each part of the case and how you did in each part. More than this, the vocal feedback was amazing too. Revolutionary Case Approach and Amazing Feedback

I'm going to be honest - I signed up for a class with Syed because I hit a wall in my consulting case prep and couldn't find ways to improve enough to land the offer I want with a top tier consultancy. I went into it expecting someone to run through a couple cases and give me generic feedback but I was shocked with what Syed had to say. He rooted out foundational problems in my case approach that I never knew existed and explained them to me in a way only an expert could. He even let me ask him practice case questions without preparation so I could understand his approach and emulate it. Other tutors often shy away from being cased because they aren't as confident in their approach as they want you to believe. Syed comes as advertised and revolutionized my approach to each type of case (market sizing, profitability, etc..). I received the offer I was grinding for at one of the top consultancies and wanted to highlight that there was maybe a 10% chance of me getting through the case interviews without Syed's insight and guidance.
