While I have never worked as a tutor, I did work as a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher, which is an elective course, in a couple of Virginia public school systems. I taught home economics to middle school students in Manassas Public Schools and to high school students in Fairfax County Public Schools. The classes were large and ranged from thirty to thirty-five students, which made for a very crowded classroom. Many students transferred into this class when they discovered the Advanced Placement classes to be too difficult or too demanding for them. The classes were a mix of grades, abilities, and included mainstream and special education students.
I spend time every day reading my Bible as I love to learn about God. I attended Christian school in my elementary school years where I received a Biblical education. However, I am not certified in Biblical studies.
I am proficient with Outlook and Microsoft word.
