I hold a Master’s degree in Statistics and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Statistics, with a strong academic foundation in both theoretical and applied mathematics. During my graduate studies, I worked as a teaching assistant for university-level statistics courses, supporting students in topics such as probability theory, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, regression, and data interpretation. My mathematics background includes calculus, linear algebra, and probability, which allows me to help students build strong fundamentals and connect math concepts across topics.

In addition to university coursework, I am interested in helping students prepare for standardized exams such as the SAT and GRE, particularly the quantitative sections. I work with students to strengthen core math skills, improve problem-solving strategies, and develop efficient approaches to exam-style questions. In my tutoring and teaching experience, I have supported students in one-on-one and small-group settings, focusing on clear explanations, structured practice, and identifying common pitfalls that affect exam performance.

I enjoy working with students of different ages and academic backgrounds, including those who feel anxious or lack confidence in math or statistics. My teaching approach emphasizes understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas, so students can apply what they learn flexibly in exams and coursework. I am patient, organized, and adaptable, and I tailor each session to the student’s goals, learning style, and timeline.
