I am a Cornell University graduate in Electrical and Computer Engineering and currently serve as the Co-Founder and CTO of Scout, a startup focused on building AI-driven systems, multimodal data pipelines, and agentic reasoning workflows. Alongside this work, I have conducted research in textile-based interfaces, architectural robotics, embedded systems, and haptic technologies. I am also a FIDE Chess Master who has represented the United States in international competitions, which allows me to blend technical depth with strategic thinking in my teaching.
I have experience tutoring students one-on-one from elementary through high school in math, programming, and chess. Working with students across age groups has taught me how to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and support both foundational skill-building and more advanced problem-solving.
My teaching style is patient, personalized, and focused on helping students build genuine understanding rather than relying on memorization. I start by learning how each student thinks, identifying where confusion begins, and creating a structured plan that builds confidence step by step. Whether we are working through STEM coursework or developing competitive chess skills, I aim to make learning intuitive, engaging, and empowering so students can grow with clarity and confidence.
