I am a BS/MD premedical student on a full-ride scholarship, having earned over $500,000 in total scholarship offers, with a 4.0 GPA and a 1500+ SAT score. My academic background includes an intensive premedical curriculum with advanced coursework in chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics. I have been tutoring for over six years, working with students from middle school through college across a wide range of academic levels, learning styles, and goals.

My tutoring approach is structured, personalized, and results-driven. I usually begin by identifying each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning patterns through a brief diagnostic or conversation about past challenges. From there, I create a personalized weekly plan with clear goals and milestones. During sessions, I use active-recall questions, spaced repetition, and Socratic questioning to help students move beyond memorization and build true conceptual understanding. After sessions, I often assign targeted practice and help students maintain an error log so we can identify patterns such as rushing, calculation mistakes, setup errors, or unit conversion issues and correct them efficiently.
In STEM subjects, I support students in algebra through calculus, statistics, general chemistry, AP/IB chemistry, algebra-based physics, and biology. I also work with students on college and BS/MD application preparation, including course planning, activity development, school-list strategy, interview preparation, and essay writing. For essays, I help students move from brainstorming and theme discovery to outlining and line-level editing, always preserving the student’s authentic voice while improving clarity, structure, and impact.
In addition to academic tutoring, I help students position themselves strongly for scholarships and competitive programs by connecting their experiences to clear, evidence-based narratives. Students I have supported have earned admission to UVA, Duke, Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon, and others.
