Highly motivated students often can achieve their goals in 3 months with weekly tutoring sessions and guided practice during non-tutoring days; less motivated students, students needing accommodations, or students needing more encouragement may take up to 6 months of preparation, with tutor sessions 2x a week, and guided practice at home during non-tutoring days. My method integrates focused instruction with the beneficial use of official SAT and ACT practice tests. As a result, students receive all the tools they need to develop effective study habits and test-taking skills, reduce test-based anxiety, improve their test scores and increase their academic confidence.
