After graduating from Penn State University with my Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN), I went on to join the United States Air Force, where I served for four years as an active duty RN and captain at the United States Air Force Academy. After separating from active duty, I received her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) with a concentration in nursing education at George Mason University. I have worked as a clinical adjunct for NOVA nursing students. I then continued my education, attending the University of Colorado Denver, where I received her women’s health nurse practitioner post-master’s certificate, and Drexel University, where I received her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner post-master’s certificate. I completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice at Simmons University.
