My name is Mounna T. I am from Morocco. I am an Arabic native speaker. I teach Modern Standard Arabic, Moroccan and Hassaniya dialects, ESL and Linguistics. I have graduated with my Master's degree in Linguistics and a Certificate of Teaching English and Arabic as second Languages at George Mason University. I have been tutoring ESL (English as a Second Language) and Arabic at Northern Virginia Community College for more than 7 years now, and I have been doing private tutoring for more than 8 years. I have met students from different backgrounds and I really enjoy the experience of meeting people and teaching/tutoring.

Majoring in Linguistics helps me learn how to teach any language I speak to non-native speakers. Also, having profound knowledge of Second Language Acquisition theoretical principles and having more than 7 years of experience tutoring ESL and Arabic have enabled me to be a good ESL/ Arabic tutor/instructor.

I know what it takes to learn a new language since French and English are my Second and Third Language respectively. The first time I came to the US, I was very shy.
