Practical Beginners English for day to day interactions (basic)

I am currently teaching English to a group of wonderful elderly people. I have been volunteering at my neighborhood church for the past 4 years and I am loving every minute of it.
I teach twice a week to a group of elderly students. I teach them the basic beginners English to survive day to day interactions. They learn how to take care of themselves. Going to their doctor appointments, meeting with their children's teachers, doing their own banking, starting new jobs. They gain confidence through learning the language in my class,and they enjoy being there. Everyday they learn something new, and literally can't wait to meet again with me.
I enjoy teaching all ages. I also have been working with preschool children. I work with kids after school with disciplining and reading,doing simple crafts. I have raised two of my own. One is a teacher, and the other is in second year in college. In another word I do have lots of patience, and passion for teaching. I have a very creative mind in coming up with new ways of teaching them. I observe their behavior and if I notice that they are getting bored or I can't get to them, I change my way, and direction of the way I teach them. I teach by showing them objects, using math, gestures, creating my own worksheets. I wish for them to have fun while they are learning a new language. Our elders (parents and children) like us to be patient with them. They like to be respected, and not to make them feel bad about not knowing something. I am aware of their needs both psychologically and academically.
As an immigrant myself,I realize their needs and wants. I give them all of my attentions that I once got from my own teachers. I know exactly how hard it is to learn a new language,and to be struggling in a new country with everyone speaking a language they can't understand. Don't struggle anymore, come learn the basics with me, I promise you won't be disappointed.
