Sandra helped my son catch up in Chemistry and he was even able to complete the year two weeks earlier than expected. She was able to fill in the explanations missing in the text and answer the questions my son had that were outside the scope of the course. We couldn't have completed the home school Chemistry course without her help.
Sandra was fantastic with my daughter and even though this was their first lesson together they really were able to accomplish a lot. She was right on time and came to our house which made it very easy.
Sandra was very sweet and patient with my teenage daughter. She quickly became comfortable with Sandra and was not embarrassed to ask her questions. Sandra explained things in a way that was easy to understand.
Sandra was an excellent tutor for my son who was taking Chemistry his sophomore year in high school. Due to some injuries in sports, he had fallen behind and his grade had really dropped. With Sandra's help he was able to bring his grade back up and he understood everything that was going on. My son said that Sandra was very good at explaining things to him and helping him to understand all of the lessons. My son's teacher was very impressed with the great progress he made when he was being tutored by Sandra.
Sandra was very good about getting back to me very quickly and was always ready to answer any questions or concerns that I had. I loved that I got immediate feedback from her right after her lesson with my son letting me know what they had covered that day. We had a wonderful experience with Sandra and would recommend her to anyone needing a tutor in Chemistry!
I want to thank Sandra for helping me go from a D in my General Chemistry 212 Class to a final grade of a B!!! I could not have done this without your help! Thank you for being flexible with my work schedule and always accommodating my requests. You are the BEST!
Sandra was a wonderful tutor for my daughter. She was patient, and in the course of one quarter was able to get her brought up to speed in order to take, and pass the Chemistry SOL. This could not have been done without the help of Sandra. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Chemistry teacher.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
