I have a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's in legal and social science. I have 20 years of experience and solid knowledge in social projects and adult financial education, and I was a legal advisor for non-profit entities in Latin America and the Caribbean. Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written, advanced in Portuguese. During my years of professional practice and work with several of the largest trust companies and foundations in Ecuador, Colombia, and Panama. I developed multiple abilities and skills such as teaching, leadership, teamwork, management, communication, and empathy.
In teaching adults, I am currently teaching Spanish and Latin American culture at the Foreign Service Institute (Department of State) in Washington D.C. I remember vividly a project where we focused on financial education for adults in rural areas, transforming their approach to economics and significantly improving their livelihoods. I develop workshops, methodologies, and appropriate educational material to reach adult audiences with low levels of schooling. This experience allowed me to develop multiple skills in education and transmission of knowledge to an adult audience, which also includes teaching foreign languages. The learning ages of these groups were between 25 and 65 years approximately.
