The majority of my students were enrolled in the university; however, some of them were professionals who worked with major businesses that had professional relationships in China. Today, many of my former students are living, studying and working in China or working for companies that do business in China. My biggest reward in teaching Chinese is that I have been able to help them to achieve their goals in life. Teaching Chinese is my passion.
Besides teaching in the classroom, I also developed the curriculum for the adult continuing education courses I taught. In my classes, I combine Chinese language with studies about the Chinese culture and cross culture discussion, so students are prepared for our globalizing world.
