I’m a Computer Science graduate with a strong background in mathematics, and I take a structured, step-by-step approach to tutoring that focuses on real understanding—not just getting through assignments. My goal is to help students build confidence in the material so they can succeed independently, whether that’s on exams, projects, or in future classes.
Many students struggle because concepts are either introduced too quickly or explained in a way that doesn’t match how they learn. I focus on identifying exactly where the confusion starts and breaking things down into clear, manageable steps. From there, I build the student’s understanding piece by piece until the topic makes sense as a whole. I’m patient, direct, and make sure students are actively engaged rather than just following along.
I tutor math (Algebra through Calculus) and computer science topics such as Python and Java. I’m comfortable helping with homework, test preparation, debugging code, and reinforcing foundational concepts that students may have missed earlier on.
In addition to tutoring, I coach wrestling, which has shaped how I teach. Coaching has taught me how to communicate clearly, stay patient, and push students to improve while still being supportive. I bring that same mindset into tutoring—structured, focused, and results-driven.
