Hello! My name is Emily, I have 10 years of experience tutoring and I taught math in Virginia for five years. I have taught Math 8 (Pre-Algebra), Algebra I, and Geometry. I have a BS in Mathematics and a BSBA in Accounting. I hold a Virginia teaching license in Mathematics and am certified to teach math K-12.

Besides specific math courses, I love to tutor SAT and ACT math. It's a pleasure helping students improve their scores and test-taking abilities in order to get into the college they want.

I am a softball coach and understand the needs of student-athletes especially when it comes to schedules. I am VERY flexible with my schedule and am also available on short notice.

As a teacher and tutor, I highly value making connections with students; I do my very best to make every student feel like a priority.

I take pride in helping students become more confident in math and to deepen their understanding.
