I hold a Master of Arts in TESOL and Foreign Language Teaching from New York University, complemented by 18 graduate-level credits in Mathematics and Statistics from Radford University. My academic qualifications also include a Bachelor of Science in Technical Communication from Southern Polytechnic State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from North China University of Technology. Additionally, I have passed two actuarial exams, demonstrating expertise in advanced mathematics such as probability and statistics.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience, including working as a full-time high school math teacher where I currently teach AP Calculus, AP Statistics, and Algebra 2. Prior to this, I taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry at Public Schools. My teaching journey has allowed me to work in diverse settings, ranging from traditional classrooms to virtual environments, fostering academic success for students from middle school to high school.

I also have extensive one-on-one and small-group tutoring experience. My focus has been on supporting students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills while tailoring instruction to their unique learning styles. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging, inclusive, and supportive environment. I incorporate interactive digital tools and hands-on activities to make abstract mathematical concepts relatable and exciting.

With over a decade of experience, I have taught students from various cultural and educational backgrounds, including English language learners, advanced placement students, disabled students with special needs, and those with different proficiency levels.
