I've been tutoring since I was in high school and genuinely enjoy doing it. I can help in high school math (including AP), intro college classes in STEM, materials science courses, and other engineering courses (including mechanics of materials, thermodynamics of materials, and physical metallurgy). I started tutoring again after taking some time off to finish my Bachelor's degree to figure out my graduate school schedule. I am very flexible in scheduling and try to make the material easy to understand.
Students come to me for tutoring because I compare the material to something they are familiar with. I am very patient and I like to review what was discussed before we move on to ensure they understand. I also encourage to have students to do problems on their own with me observing and have them explain each step out loud so they retain and understand what they are doing.
