This is Maha ! I have a BS in Mathematics from BAU with a GPA 3.98/4 and I'm pursuing my MS in Statistics (GPA 4/4). Due to my academic achievements, I was rewarded full scholarships throughout my undergraduate level along with a teaching assistantship! I've been admitted by highly ranked universities in US for pursuing PhD in Mathematics. At high school, I realized that the classes I liked the most weren't because of the topics but the instructors who made it pleasurable! I seek to bring this experience to my tutoring sessions, engage students and do my best to make the learning process interesting and understandable!
I have 6 years' experience teaching Mathematics at private schools in US and Lebanon including middle school, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II. I started tutoring when I was in college. For now, I've been tutoring for 9 years and have had a great success with my students, ranging from middle school to college. I'm remarkably confident at tutoring the following subjects: middle school Math, Algebra(all levels), Pre-Calculus and Statistics. Adding to that, I've been tutoring at Huntington Learning Center for ACT/PSAT/SAT and at Tut Me center plus private lessons. Huntington Center were amazed by my achievements and students' feedback that they've been recommending me to their friends where they call the center and ask for me to be their tutor !! That gives me a great sense of achievement and more passion to teach Mathematics!
I'm always here to support a positive Mathematics attitude, focus on theoretical understanding, and helping students reduce anxiety while doing Math. I'm patient with my students and work through math concepts step-by-step at a pace that fits each student.
