I earned both my bachelor's and master's degrees in Ocean Engineering from Virginia Tech, where I developed a deep understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and their practical applications. Over the past 15 years, I have worked as a practicing naval architect, consistently applying complex mathematical principles to solve engineering challenges in ship design and marine systems.
My tutoring journey spans over a decade, working with students ranging from 7 to 22 years old in both one-on-one and small group settings. I have successfully guided elementary students through foundational subjects including math, social studies, history, English, and reading, even teaching strategic thinking through chess.
