I achieved a master degree of pharmacology in Georgetown University and a bachelor degree of chemistry in University of California Santa Barbara. With regards to Jinwinru's curt response and cancelled lesson charge, a part of which you can see above, we need to tighten up some details....First, Jinwinru asked me to meet her at the right side of Healey Hall at 1PM. I drove 30 minutes, was there at 12.45 and waited for her until 1.15, when I assumed she had forgotten about the lesson and went home.Second, Jinwinru says she texted me at 1.02 asking that I go find her at the Gonda Theatre. But she actually emailed through the Wyzant site, a message I didn't receive because I don't use my phone for email, and had never been asked to bring my phone and await further instructions anyway.Third, what kind of well-intentioned teacher would not think to look outside and check where she had asked me to meet her when I didn't immediately respond to her email?!I can't comment on her musical abilities, but the combination of poor communication skills, indifference to her student, and snarky response to a misunderstanding that she herself caused puts her at the very bottom of the many dozens of teachers I have hired over the years.Please cancel the lesson charge and refund my $49.05. I'll know better than to trust internet-based referrals in the future.

I had a very great learning experience
The tutor is very patient and professional! I am a beginner, the tutor firstly taught me how read the music notes and gave me a piece of sample music sheet to read and play, and then the tutor taught me the correct fingering technique to play the scales. I also demonstrated a piece of music to the tutor, the tutor evaluated my performance and provided suggestions for the the improvements. I highly recommended this piano tutor to the beginners who just learned to play the piano.
