Hello! My name is Nehal G. and I graduated with my Master's degree in Higher Education Administration. I am currently working at a university as an academic advisor and have held other positions in the past. This is how and where I found my passion to help students navigate through college and their careers. As I was navigating through my own academic and professional journey, I realized how difficult and stressful this process can be for anyone. Thus, I hope to help ease this transition by guiding students through both their academic and education journeys while also helping them grow personally in the process. I wish to prepare our future leaders of tomorrow in the best way possible.

My current and past work experiences have enabled me to work very closely with both undergraduate and graduate student populations. As an academic advisor, I advise several hundred students in helping them go through their graduate studies. I also work with other institutional constituents in ensuring that every student is successful and that the program itself is worthwhile for students, faculty, and the institution. Additionally, I also work with the admissions team to review applications and with faculty to provide the best education to the students.

My background in higher education have prepared me well to understand how institutions function. I also understand how challenging it can be for students to land a job and/or pick an institution to pursue their education. Blending these perspectives together, I bring all worlds to the table to help students navigate both their academic and educational journeys.
