Tutoring is also an option for people looking to brush up on a skill they had, and, it is also a way to acquire a skill they might need for the workplace or for better performance in the academic world.
Having lived part of my life overseas, I have had the chance to interact with various cultures and I am quite at ease with people from wherever they might be. I am aware that being armed with the best possible academic resources, gives one access to the many opportunities they will encounter in their lifetime. I honestly believe that learning and bettering oneself is a lifelong process and it is certainly an ongoing one. Being a holder of Master's in Diplomacy and two Bachelor's degrees, I am now contemplating a Doctorate program. I envision continuing to learn and grow not only in academics but also in all aspects of life.
I started teaching languages over 20 years ago. My first experience was teaching EFL (English as a foreign language). I later received training in Reading (AMERICA READS) and I also tutor those areas of studies which expertise I have gained through my many years at the university learning and researching. I am very flexible and I not only teach elementary school age children but I also tutor middle and high school students as well as undergrad students and continuing adult education.
