Hi everyone! My name is Caroline. I earned my MD from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and matched into Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency. I’m passionate about helping medical students and residents succeed on USMLE Step 1, Step 2 CK, and Step 3, as well as NBME shelf exams, by developing strong clinical reasoning and efficient test-taking strategies.

I’ve been through this process myself and understand how challenging it can be to translate knowledge into consistent exam performance. I scored in the top percentiles on the USMLE exams, including a 270 on Step 2 CK and a 261 on Step 3, and I bring a deep understanding of how the USMLE tests clinical decision-making, prioritization, and next-best-step logic.

Throughout medical school and residency training, I’ve been heavily involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and junior trainees in both formal and informal settings. I’ve designed and led lectures, facilitated small-group discussions, and taught clinical reasoning under time pressure in real clinical environments. These experiences have shaped my ability to explain complex concepts clearly, efficiently, and in a way that sticks.

My tutoring approach is personalized, structured, and highly interactive. I focus on working through real USMLE-style questions, breaking down stems efficiently, identifying reasoning gaps, building repeatable frameworks for diagnosis and management, and sharing practical test-day strategies to improve confidence and pacing.

I’m not just here to help you answer questions correctly — I’m here to help you think the way the exam wants you to think, so your preparation translates into results on test day. If you’re looking for a tutor who is invested, approachable, and focused on high-yield strategy, I’d be happy to work with you. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
