Hi! I’m a senior at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, graduating in May 2026 with a dual major in Biology and French and a minor in Fine Arts. I’m on the pre-medical track, plan to take a gap year before medical school in August 2027, and have been on the Dean’s List every semester of college, maintaining a 3.83 GPA.

Alongside my academic work, I’ve completed 500+ hours of clinical experience across multiple healthcare settings, 300+ hours of research, and 250+ hours of volunteer service. I currently work at an ophthalmology clinic in Virginia, where I continue to develop strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach, qualities that directly inform how I work with students.

I tutor high school and college students in Biology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, French, and MCAT foundational content and study strategies. During college, I earned A’s in Biology I & II, Organic Chemistry I & II, Biochemistry, Genetics, Parasitology, Organic Evolution, General Psychology, Sociology, Social Psychology, and multiple upper-level French courses. I also completed extensive MCAT preparation through Kaplan courses and independent study, and I help students build a strong MCAT readiness plan, improve content understanding, and effective yet balanced study habits.

My teaching style is friendly, encouraging, and student-centered. I strive to create an uplifting learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenging material. I break concepts down step-by-step, adapt lessons to individual learning styles, and focus on both mastery and confidence-building.

I offer a free introductory meeting to ensure a good fit and to discuss goals before beginning lessons. I ask that students always come prepared, organized, and committed to learning.

Feel free to reach out, I’d love to learn more about your goals and help you move forward with confidence!

Genetics

Genetics

I earned A’s in both Genetics lecture and Genetics lab as a Biology major at the George Washington University. I am a research assistant in the Kay Lab at GWU, which focuses on cardiac electrophysiology. As part of my work for the lab, I'm currently writing a literature review examining epigenetic responses to parasympathetic activation, specifically pertaining to altered signaling pathways in the heart. Through this work, I have developed a strong understanding of gene regulation, experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific literature analysis. I'm equipped to help students build a clear conceptual foundation in genetics.
MCAT

MCAT

I completed extensive MCAT preparation through Kaplan coursework and independent study, earning a 514 on my August 2025 MCAT after improving from a 505 in January 2025 through a more structured, practice-focused approach over the summer. Through two study cycles, I learned the importance of active practice, strategic review, and consistent pacing, rather than passive content reading alone. I help students build realistic study plans, apply test-taking strategies I learned through Kaplan, and track progress using an organized spreadsheet system for practice exams and goal-setting. My focus is on helping students study smarter, stay motivated, and develop habits that lead to steady improvement over time.
Sociology

Sociology

I earned an A in SOC 1002: The Sociological Imagination at The George Washington University and am comfortable supporting students in introductory sociology coursework. I also earned a 129 in the Psych/Soc section of the August 2025 MCAT, and I can help students understand key sociological concepts, vocabulary, and exam-style questions.
