I graduated from Lehigh University summa cum laude with a B.S. in Behavioral Neuroscience and a minor in Philosophy, and will be attending medical school next fall. I held a 4.0 GPA throughout all four years of college.

I scored a 527 (100th percentile) on the MCAT, with a 99th percentile score of 131 in CARS and a perfect score of 132 in all other sections (C/P, B/B, and P/S).

I am highly competent and knowledgeable in all MCAT areas and have over 5 years of previous tutoring experience in high school mathematics and chemistry.

The MCAT is a BEAST of a test, and I’m here to help you crush it! From resource recommendations and study plan creation to refining your passage analysis skills, exam strategies, and content knowledge, I will help guide you through the whole process.

MY APPROACH: Higher efficiency, higher scores! I value your time, and so my approach to MCAT studying and tutoring prioritizes study efficiency and broadly translatable critical reasoning skills over low-yield content knowledge.

In short: Passage reasoning is king!

This strategy netted me a 527 while studying during a busy school semester and winter break, and I am confident that the underlying principles can help you take your score to the next level.

The best way to score high on the MCAT is to develop very strong (but NOT all-encompassing) content knowledge in high and medium-yield areas, and then focus primarily on developing stellar passage reasoning skills through APPLIED PRACTICE (and through focused tutoring sessions!).

I understand that not all students learn the same way, or prefer the same study methods. With this in mind, each student's lessons and study plan will be individualized to emphasize their particular strengths and preferences.

I will do what's most effective FOR YOU!

Amazing tutor, 10/10 would recommend

I found Chris on Wyzant about 3 months into my studying and was slightly plateauing in terms of scores and motivation. Because I was self-studying, I wasn't sure what to do and I was getting nervous with my test date fast approaching. He helped me build a study program, teach me different techniques, and in general provided a ton of support and guidance in this stressful process. With Chris's help, I was able to raise my practice test scores over 10 points, and began averaging low to mid 90th percentile scores on my practice tests. I ended up getting an 89th percentile score on my 1/23 MCAT and will be applying to medical school later this Spring. Thank you, Chris!!!

Great tutor, would definitely recommend!

Chris is a great MCAT tutor. He gave me really useful strategies and tips that helped me improve my full length scores. When reviewing my practice tests together, he answered any questions that I had and made sure that I really understood why I got something wrong before moving on to the next question. We worked through some Bio, Chem, and CARS passages in real-time together to figure out where I could specifically improve during test-taking, and he really helped boost my confidence as well. Thank you Chris!

Great study planning strategies and wonderfully personable!

Chris and I worked on how to pace my MCAT study schedule based on my desired timeline and the resources available to me. He even built me a week-by-week plan for my last 6 weeks of AAMC prep. Chris also kindly directed me to some additional resources like Anki decks and review sheets. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who feels like they need assistance planning out their study schedule, or even someone who just doesn't know where or how to start studying for the MCAT. Thanks for all your help Chris!

Knew exactly what student needed

My daughter did one session with him 2 weeks before the exam. He gave a free consultation before the session so she could tell him where she was at in the prep, and he could decide if he could help her. At the session, my daughter found him to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful, providing last minute tips and strategies, pointers and what to avoid at the 11th hour. And he was always prompt with communication before and after the session. 2 thumbs up!

Attentive, knowledgeable, and patient

I’ve had an excellent experience with Chris thus far! He really took the time to listen to what I had to say about previous strategies I had used in my prep for my first bout of MCAT studying, and worked to create a schedule that was catered to my need for further applied practice. A large issue that I had “going it alone” was not having a clear idea of what I needed to complete every day, which led to anxiety because I always felt like I had to be studying. Ultimately this didn’t work for me because I became overworked and quite miserable. Since I’ve met with Chris, I’ve become more confident in the process and am able to return to having greater balance in my life while I prep for this exam! We also recently met to do a passage walkthrough for CARS, and Chris made insightful comments on thought patterns that could be tweaked to improve my performance. Talking through a passage helped me remain engaged and is something I will implement on my own occasionally as I continue to practice this section. If you are setting out to create a schedule and strategy to tackle the MCAT, I strongly urge you to consider meeting with Chris if you are able. Ideally this is an exam you should be sitting for once, so if you can, take advantage of incredible resources and connections by consulting tutors who have already taken the MCAT, especially Chris!!

Amazing tutor

Chris is an amazing tutor. From making content study schedules and lesson plans to just general advice, he was an amazing MCAT tutor for me. He worked with my schedules and learning issues very well and I saw significant improvement and actually feel confident going into my second MCAT.

Very thorough and patient tutor

Chris is an outstanding tutor. He took the time to break down every step of the process, making even the most challenging concepts easy to understand. From creating a personalized study schedule to determining how many questions to tackle each day, he provided a clear plan that eased my stress and kept me on track. This exam can feel overwhelming and difficult, but Chris patiently answered every question and consistently boosted my confidence. His ability to explain complex topics in clear, concise terms is truly remarkable. I would wholeheartedly recommend Chris to anyone preparing for this test.

Top-tier tutor!

Honestly, it’s no surprise that Chris scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT. Within just a few minutes of meeting with him, it was clear how smart and gifted he is when it comes to processing complex concepts. But what truly made Chris stand out as a tutor was his ability to adapt his teaching style to fit me and my learning preferences. He doesn’t just explain things the way he understands them — he takes the time to figure out how you think and learn, then reframes each concept (sometimes multiple times) until it clicks. I never felt judged for not getting something right away. He was always patient, encouraging, and genuinely committed to helping me understand the material. Beyond the content itself, Chris helped me approach the MCAT more strategically. He gave me practical advice on managing time, spotting distracting “buffer” content in passages, and using my strengths to my advantage. His guidance made the exam feel so much less overwhelming — I can’t recommend him enough!
