Chris is wonderful! He goes above and beyond to make sure all of your questions are answered. He is great at both making space for you to decide what to work on, as well as directing you through reviewing relevant topics to enhance your understanding. He is clearly extremely knowledgeable and is particularly good at breaking down tricky concepts and making them manageable and easy to understand. He has been an invaluable resource in figuring out where my content gaps lie for the MCAT, and how to efficiently and strategically address them. He also offers a lot of helpful advice regarding passage analysis and how to deduce answers to tricky questions. I saw a 6 point improvement in my practice test scores in the couple of weeks I have been working with him, and feel far more prepared to take the test due to his help. Knew exactly what student needed

My daughter did one session with him 2 weeks before the exam. He gave a free consultation before the session so she could tell him where she was at in the prep, and he could decide if he could help her. At the session, my daughter found him to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful, providing last minute tips and strategies, pointers and what to avoid at the 11th hour. And he was always prompt with communication before and after the session. 2 thumbs up!

I’ve had an excellent experience with Chris thus far! He really took the time to listen to what I had to say about previous strategies I had used in my prep for my first bout of MCAT studying, and worked to create a schedule that was catered to my need for further applied practice. A large issue that I had “going it alone” was not having a clear idea of what I needed to complete every day, which led to anxiety because I always felt like I had to be studying. Ultimately this didn’t work for me because I became overworked and quite miserable. Since I’ve met with Chris, I’ve become more confident in the process and am able to return to having greater balance in my life while I prep for this exam! We also recently met to do a passage walkthrough for CARS, and Chris made insightful comments on thought patterns that could be tweaked to improve my performance. Talking through a passage helped me remain engaged and is something I will implement on my own occasionally as I continue to practice this section. If you are setting out to create a schedule and strategy to tackle the MCAT, I strongly urge you to consider meeting with Chris if you are able. Ideally this is an exam you should be sitting for once, so if you can, take advantage of incredible resources and connections by consulting tutors who have already taken the MCAT, especially Chris!!

Honestly, it’s no surprise that Chris scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT. Within just a few minutes of meeting with him, it was clear how smart and gifted he is when it comes to processing complex concepts. Amazing tutor; Would definitely recommend!

I received tutoring from Chris for the MCAT. I had been struggling to make improvements in the past month of studying, but Chris helped me identify my weaknesses. He noted the content gaps that I had, but the most help was his identification of the non-content mistakes I was making. For example, I was attacking specific passages disadvantageously and having an inefficient approach to answering particular questions. Chris also showed an exceptional grasp of MCAT knowledge, seemingly knowing everything that can be tested. I would recommend Chris to any person looking for help with the MCAT!

Totally recommend!!!! I have never met a tutor who knows material so well, Chris clearly knows what he is teaching. Any question you have he knows how to answer it very well and always gives great examples. He has great teaching methods and gives great tips for problems. :)
