Bio

I’ve had the pleasure of informally helping numerous students apply to and get into their top schools, including Brown University, University of Michigan, and Boston University. I’m excited to expand my reach to a broader subset of students. As a Brown University and Harvard Law School graduate, I’m well-acquainted with the applicant perspective of applying to and getting accepted by top schools. So much of it is about telling your unique story in a compelling and poignant way—and yes, that applies to even those who don’t think they have a unique story! From my experiences as a former Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and current lawyer at an international law firm, I know how important crafting a story is, and doing so in a way that appeals to a variety of audiences.

I’m eager to help students work on finding and crafting that story. I’m willing to start as early as brainstorming or as late as on the brink of submission. I can review essays, resumes, or help prepare for college interviews. Some standardized testing support may be provided; please reach out with specific requests. Additionally, please reach out if you are seeking help with graduate school essays and resumes, general writing, or public speaking skills.

Bar Exam

Bar Exam

I passed the UBE on my first attempt with a score in the 98th percentile and currently practice in D.C. I’ve never been a strong test taker, but I’ve taught myself useful study skills that align with my thinking style and help me balance my time without burning out. The bar exam is a monster of a test, and you don’t need to (nor will you) learn every single thing. I can help you prioritize the most important topics to maximize your score, build study skills that play to your strengths, figure out how to break down and retain hard concepts, and find balance so that you can still enjoy the things you love outside of studying. You might also have fun in the process! My experience as a current lawyer and former manager at a management consulting firm have taught me how to work with a variety of personalities and working styles as well as be an effective coach and mentor. Look forward to working together!
Career Development

Career Development

As a former management consultant and current lawyer, I’ve had the opportunity to figure out the tips/tricks to early career exploration. I’ll bring my background working in public service and top corporate firms, including as a manager and recruiting lead, to help you navigate how to make reasoned career choices, present your best self in applications and interviews, and transition into a new workplace. I’ve had the pleasure of serving as a mentor in many capacities—including, most notably, as an Engagement Manager at a top consulting firm—and I’m excited to bring those skills to help you navigate your career path.
College Counseling

College Counseling

I’ve had the pleasure of informally helping numerous students apply to and get into their top schools, including Brown University, University of Michigan, and Boston University. I’m excited to expand my reach to a broader subset of students. As a Brown University and Harvard Law School graduate, I’m well-acquainted with the applicant perspective of applying to and getting accepted by top schools. Interview Prep

Interview Prep

Throughout my career, interviews have often been the make-or-break moments for new opportunities. Prior to law school, I worked as a manager at McKinsey & Co, which required undergoing multiple rounds of challenging case interviews. As a lawyer, I’ve been both on the interviewee and interviewer side and refined my own instincts for what makes for a strong interviewer. I can help you refine your interview skills to be a stand out candidate in any context, without sacrificing your authentic personality. I’m skilled at university / grad school interviews, consulting case interviews, or general job interviews.
Legal Writing

Legal Writing

I graduated from Harvard Law and currently practice as a litigator in DC. I have experience as a private attorney and a judicial clerk and have had many opportunities to hone my legal writing over time. It’s a challenging skill and one that gets better with practice, and I can help you build good habits, identify what strong writing looks like, and work through common errors / missteps.
Public Speaking

Public Speaking

Public speaking has long been a central component of my education and career journey. As a former high school speech competition champion, ex-management consultant, and current lawyer, I recognize how exciting albeit challenging it can be. I've had the opportunity to build, strengthen, and test my public speaking skills in a variety of environments, from leading meetings in corporate board rooms to arguing in legal proceedings—and even officiating weddings. I can work with students on how to build a strong foundation as a public speaker, including how to capture a room, tailor your delivery to your audience, overcome nerves, and, yes, even find joy in it!
