Hello! My name is David, I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. During that time, I was a part of the Honors Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program, along with Sigma Phi Delta, the professional engineering fraternity on campus. After college, I went on to work as an engineer for the US Navy. When I am not working, I am actively pursuing my Master of Science from Johns Hopkins University in Mechanical Engineering.

Engineering and STEM have always been a large part of my life, as they are subjects that I have excelled in, and found great interest in. A direct reflection of my knowledge in these areas is reflected in my GPA’s, where I achieved a 3.7 in undergrad, and currently hold a 4.0 in my graduate courses. On top of academics, I have conducted research in this field for 6 years, and have been mentored by numerous subject matter experts. I have had the opportunity to spread this knowledge as a Teaching Assistant for an upper-level Aerospace Engineering class, along with tutoring in this field in college. Outside of tutoring college-level courses, I have experience tutoring in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Calculus, and Physics, and am qualified to tutor in all levels of pre-college math.
I am a firm believer that building a strong foundation in math and science is critical to achieving success in these fields in the future. I attended Elementary through High School in Montgomery County, MD so I am familiar with many of the teaching methods and curriculums, but can tutor in any area, and can supplement what is taught in school and help any student succeed. I look forward to helping students achieve their greatest potential.
