I have been working in the medical field for over 7 years now – first as a pre-health intern, then as a registered nurse, and now as a dual-board certified nurse practitioner. I received my BS in Global Health from the University of Southern California and later went back for my BSN and MSN at the George Washington University. I now work primarily as a nurse practitioner in critical care environments and as a nurse educator/mentor.

I have worked with nursing students and nurses of all levels – from pre-health to nursing school to NCLEX prep to mentoring newer nurses as they transition from new graduate to confident and highly skilled bedside staff. I began my teaching experience about 5 years ago, as I began precepting new nurses and helping prepare them to take certification exams such as the CCRN. I have formally taught in classrooms, led seminars, and I love working one-on-one to determine the best action plan for individual students.

Giving back to the profession that made me who I am today is one of my greatest passions. Thus, I am here to help all future healthcare professionals get the help they need now to ensure they become the best future practitioners they can be.
