I always make time for students to practice the material on their own and ask additional questions. Last Fall, while studying in Spain, I tutored literature and English to elementary school students. Their energy and curiosity motivated me to create engaging and fun tutoring sessions. I am passionate about tutoring because it personally helped me become a better student while in high school. I was part of AVID, a pre-college preparation program that supported traditionally underserved students in higher education. My tutors were a key support system during my college application process and I hope to have a positive impact on my students.
I majored in Psychology in undergrad and am very passionate about the subject. I have taken courses in Social, Abnormal, Physiological, and Health Psychology and would tutor classmates.
