Hi, I'm Ginnie! I've earned a BA in Politics and International Relations from Scripps College, an MA in Modern History from University College, London, and an MSc in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics. I have 8 years under my belt of tutoring with prestigious SAT/ACT prep companies, and am trained in a range of their methods. Plus, I've tutored/taught high school and college academic subjects for 4 years, adding my own tutoring style and best practices that I have found over the years. I've led in-person classrooms and private online tutoring, and highly customize lessons to your individual needs, learning style, and goals. I've also worked with students to help finalize their top college choices, draw up application timelines, and craft their college admission essays.
Recently, I returned to the classroom to teach one of my favorite college level-courses--US History--in a college course for high schoolers. I love the story-telling of reading (especially history), the creative rules of math, the logic of grammar, and the persuasive power of writing.
