My background includes teaching in elementary and secondary classrooms across general education, honors and special needs settings, as well as one‑on‑one tutoring with learners of all ages. I have worked with students in English, writing, reading comprehension, business subjects, marketing, algebra, and technology and I also guide students through college and graduate school application essays. This range has shaped a teaching style that is patient, clear and focused on meeting each student where they are.

My academic experience includes a BBA in Finance, a Post‑Baccalaureate Certificate in Information Systems, an MSc in International Affairs and an International MBA with a focus on entrepreneurship and strategy. I also hold a TEFL certification. These programs strengthened my skills in writing, analysis, math, communication and research, and I bring that foundation into every session.

I aim to make learning feel manageable and productive. I listen closely, break down complex ideas into understandable steps and create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help each learner build clarity, strengthen their skills and leave each session feeling more capable than when they arrived.

I liked that Kim really helped my paper flow and added suggestions to transition from paragraphs, something I had forgotten to do.
