I have been teaching French as a second language for more than twenty years in the United States as well as abroad. My student population varied from kindergarten graders to adults. My international exposure helped me sharpen my teaching skills. I enjoy teaching and this is reflected by the attention I get in the classroom. I always managed to maintain a positive learning atmosphere in the classroom, and I even encouraged parents’ involvement in their child’s learning progress to strengthen support and motivation beyond the classroom." My greatest strengths are my well-organized class structure and my ability to tailor each lesson to the student’s level and progress. Depending on the length of the course, the daily schedule may include free conversation, daily radio news bulletins, TV news segments, grammar training, short student-led presentations on various topics (especially for students preparing for tests), and written articles on current events.
The goal is to develop speaking, listening, and reading comprehension skills.
The lessons are suitable for all levels and ages, including employees preparing to work overseas.
