Extremely knowledgeable and helpful
Andy was very involved in my daughter’s learning of the material. He asked for handouts/homework in advance, so he was very prepared to give a very productive lesson. In the session my daughter felt that he took initiative to cover everything she needed to know about the topic. My daughter felt very confident that she could control the material because of Andy’s thorough explanations and help.

Went over parts of chapter 2 and aided me in better understanding of the material, taking his time to go step-by-step on how the problem works. He also makes sure to check on me to make sure I am not lost in the material every time we finish a section of the book.

Great HS math/science tutor
Andy has been tutoring my daughter in physics for the second part of this quarter. It went so well that she also asked him to add a session to review for her algebra final. Without having worked with her on this subject previously, he picked up with the material she brought home and worked through it steadily so she felt comfortable going into the test. She feels that she did well and we will roll into SAT prep with Andy over the summer - he has really made a wonderful change in her understanding of the material, as well as in her confidence, which is very important for her. He has worked with my son for his SAT preparation and for Math (AFM - Advance function and modelling). He was a savior for my son. He understood his capacity and mindset very well and customize lessons accordingly. His grasp on the subject is very well and his tutoring has helped my son like anything. Apart from teaching Maths he has also advised my son on study skills and for college readiness as well. A true mentor. I would highly recommend Andy for his dedication to teaching.
