I am a certified Special Education and Mathematics teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience supporting diverse learners in both general and special education settings. I currently teach Quantitative Modeling, Geometry, and Financial Literacy at the high school level, and I serve as a case manager responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitoring student progress, and ensuring academic and behavioral success.
My tutoring approach is student-centered, structured, and data-driven. I begin by identifying each student’s current level, learning gaps, and strengths. From there, I create clear, step-by-step instruction using real-world examples, visual models, and guided practice to help students understand concepts deeply. I specialize in supporting students who struggle with math, including learners with IEPs, 504 plans, ADHD, and multilingual backgrounds.
I focus on building confidence, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students become independent learners. I use frequent checks for understanding, targeted feedback, and personalized strategies to ensure students stay engaged and make measurable progress. I also support homework, test preparation, and long-term skill development in Algebra, Geometry, and Financial Literacy.
Students and parents can expect a supportive, patient, and highly organized learning experience where expectations are clear and success is achievable. My goal is to help every student not only improve their grades but also develop confidence and a positive mindset toward mathematics.
I look forward to working with you and supporting your academic goals.
