I bring a combination of strong academic training, decades of professional experience, and a genuine enjoyment of helping people learn. I earned degrees from George Washington University and Georgetown University, including a master's degree in Foreign Service with a concentration in economics. I then spent 30 years working in the U.S. Government, including 14 years as a supervisor and hiring official.

I have extensive experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, and helping people develop the skills they need to succeed. My tutoring experience includes elementary and middle-school math, Algebra 1, geometry, reading, grammar, vocabulary, English composition, economics, statistics, Excel, ESL, public speaking, debate, and interview preparation.

My professional background also gives me a practical perspective on communication, public speaking, writing, interviewing, and career preparation.
