I am also CRLA Level 3 certified tutor, reflecting advanced training in effective, evidence-based tutoring practices.
I have four years of experience working as an academic coach and tutor, supporting college students across a wide range of courses including science, humanities, English, and test preparation. Most of my experience has been spent working one-on-one with students who have a variety of learning disabilities. I have become skilled at adjusting my teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student. I strongly believe in reflecting the methods I utilize in my own academic: focusing on efficient studying and time management, building a strong conceptual understanding, and strategic preparation rather than rote memorization.
My background allows me to support students not only with mastering course content, but with developing the skills needed to succeed in rigorous academic environments long-term.
